A bit about Roseberry Workshop

Welcome!  Roseberry Workshop is my furniture business located in Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada. My little workshop sits below some spruce trees in our backyard, and inside is where all the dusty magic happens. I have a basement  full of furniture that slowly migrates its way out to the shop where I fix it up and sell it, and I also do custom work for people. I have the best hubby ever, who is always willing to lend a hand, and a faithful doggie. That Tim McGraw song says it best "It ain't always pretty, but it's real". With this website I hope to provide a little more in-depth info as to what goes on around here, share some stories and how-to's, and hopefully  connect with people who have similar interests!

I'm a furniture painting, fabric stashing, dirt digging kind of girl who always has a zillion projects on the go. As far back as I can remember, doing anything artsy has always been the way I love to spend my time the most. I love to draw, doodle, paint, design--you name it! Being creative intrigues my brain and lassoed my heart long long ago, and I just gotta do all the things! And wouldn't ya know that brought me to Roseberry Workshop.

I've been doing furniture full-time for a couple of years now, and I spend all day, every day with my consultant, Lily. I bounce ideas like paint colours off of her all day long. By the way, my fabulous consultant just so happens to be the world's cutest basset hound! So as you can see, I've got a simple little life going, and although I enjoy it, I've decided to shake things up a bit and start this website. I like to write, so my plan is to share ongoing furniture, house, and life stuff with you as it all happens. I hope you enjoy!
